Welcome to Gundalow Group, where we're passionate about simplifying life in the most delicious way possible.

Our story begins in 2011 when our founder, Dana, a part-time nutrition consultant, realized that many of her clients struggled to find the time and energy to shop and cook healthy meals. She started offering personal chef services, tailoring meals to clients' preferences and dietary needs.

She quickly found that though people loved that they were eating healthier foods tailored to their exact preferences, what they really loved was that they had more time to their day and their lives were simplified. Clients no longer questioned what to make for dinner, when they were going to fit in grocery shopping, and had no fear of mountains of dishes for them to do after making a meal. Instead, her clients were spending more time doing what they really wanted to do.

Gundalow’s success quickly grew. To accommodate the increasing demand for our services, she recruited a team of skilled chefs and cooks and broadened our offerings to include small event catering and in-home cooking classes. With the growth of our services came the need for a larger space, leading to the expansion from a shared commercial kitchen to our own kitchen. Today, we cater events of up to 75 guests, specializing in bridal and baby showers, business meetings, dinner parties, boat rides, and unique experiences such as retreats and cheeseboard building classes (our favorite).

In 2020, amidst the pandemic, we opened our first brick and mortar shop in Hampden’s Whitehall Market as Gundalow Gourmet. There, we have been able to connect with so many new people while serving some of our favorite prepared foods. In early 2022, we expanded Gundalow Gourmet to Gundalow Designs, a one stop shop for interior decor, gifts, and vintage finds.

Our growth story doesn’t stop there, by September of 2022, we opened our second location in The Shops at Kenilworth in Towson. Our new shop is home to all things Gundalow where you can shop our favorite pantry items, browse our decor and gifts, and pick from a selection of our fresh baked goods (definitely give the Signature Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie a try). Our new shop also features a full kitchen, where our talented chefs prepare delicious meals that can be enjoyed on the go or taken home to enjoy later.

The Gundalow team has been so lucky to work for so many wonderful and kind people, but we have been even luckier with the amazing people who have joined our team.  Each chef has brought in a unique skill set, personality, and view of food to the team.  We are lucky enough to have a collaborative team that has made each year of service better and better.  The best way to learn about food is to experience it and share with other’s and we are so fortunate to be able to do just that with our amazing team of cooks and chefs.
