Prepared Foods and Catering Chef

We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated full-time chef to support our catering and kitchen prep operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and cook food for small-scale catering orders, prepared meal menus, and custom requests

  • Assemble and package catering orders with attention to detail and presentation

  • Follow recipes and prep lists to support daily kitchen operations

  • Assist with kitchen prep tasks—chopping, roasting, baking, and more

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment

  • Label, date, and store ingredients and finished items properly

  • Help with deliveries and inventory organization as needed

  • Work closely with a small, collaborative team to meet deadlines and uphold our standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment is preferred

  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification is a plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions and recipes precisely

  • Dependability, great communication, and a positive team attitude

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Schedule & Compensation:

Shop Team, Part Time

Job Description

Provide great customer service to all who come into the shop

Keep shop neat and tidy

Regularly merchandise the space

Communicate clearly and effectively with kitchen staff, team leads and management

Answer phone calls and assist customers with all questions

Keep merchandise stocked, priced, and inventoried

Keep track of kitchen production inventory

Operate Square Point of Sale

Job Requirements

Must be able to stand for 6+ hours at a time

Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Must be able to twist and turn

Must follow proper food safety rules and regulations

Must be a team player and work well with others

Must have a high attention to detail

Keep a positive attitude and promote a fun work environment

Respect all team members and positions

Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Starting at $15/ hour + tips. Varies based on experience
